Long day. Flight was so early that we barely got coffee. At least KLM had early morning papers ready for pick up as we boarded. Raining like Vancouver when we landed in Amsterdam. Unrelenting. Wind picked up off the North Sea.
Flight was long, but then we were over the rockies, and then out over the sea and following the coastline south from Gibsons. A sudden bank and the pilot gave us the million dollar shot, looking east from Stanley Park, the downtown all the way to the Fraser Valley. Everyone said, "ahh". We were home.
